About me
Hi!
My name is Joukje Willemsen. My two passions are statistics and graphic design, so you could say that I'm “statistician by day, illustrator by night"! With Statistics Illustrated I combine my two passions to help researchers make their ideas more accessible, understandable and fun. I wholeheartedly believe that knowledge is as valuable as you can communicate it!
When you don't find me working on my laptop or drawing on the iPad, I'll probably be in the gym. My latest obsession is my fitbit, which I highly recommend if you are an active statistics nerd hungry for data and plots! It helps to comprise your current wellbeing into sleep scores, resting heart rates and other fun stuff, it's great!
